WESMAC 42 CONVERSION INTO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE LOBSTER YACHT

ESD was asked to convert the Wesmac 42 "Q2"
into a fully wheelchair accessible dayboat for
an experienced yachtsman who was confined
to a wheelchair after a stroke. In addition to
making her work with his new physical
constraints, the Client also wanted the new
boat to mirror the classic aesthetic of the
family's large sailing yacht. The result is
"Relentless" a lobster yacht with mega yacht
detail that has allowed the Client to get back
on the water with family and friends. She has
had a busy life since delivery, in use 5-6 days a
week during summers in Maine and winters in
Florida.
